It
would be hard to imagine a more appropriate time to sport the old
kilt than participating in a true Irishfest La Crosse sporting event.
Irishfest La Crosse and Killian's Irish Red Lager proudly present
the Third Annual Killian's 5K Kilt Run/Walk.

The Killian's 5K Kilt Run/Walk will proceed along the beautiful, scenic Riverside Park Trail on Saturday, August 8th. The run/walk is not intended to be a race or feat of strength. Participants needing a rest are encouraged to do so. A limited supply of Killian's Irish Red will be available at the finish line for participants who are 21 years of age or older, so don't rest too long.
Kilts are encouraged, but are
not mandatory. All participants in a kilt will be eligible to win a Killian's
Irish Red/Irishfest La Crosse Prize Package! Homemade kilts count too!
If you choose not to wear a kilt, please show your Irish spirit in your
own unique way.
Registration
Pre-register for the Killian's 5K Kilt Run/Walk by clicking the "Register Today" link below.
Same-day registration will be located at the WEST entrance of the Southside Oktoberfest Grounds on Front Street and will begin at 9:30AM. Registration cost is $20.00. Registered participants will receive the Official Killian's 5K Kilt Run/Walk T-Shirt and admission to Irishfest. Some T-Shirts will be available on the day of the event; however, due to ordering deadlines, participants registering after July 20, 2009 will not be guaranteed a T-shirt.
